Roger

"Runway 2-7, its a roger!" I laughed this morning as Nate was saying this over and over again, I think he has heard people say 'roger' when then are doing radio...any way, it could be a new thing to describe a bad take off, "now that was a roger!" ...grimace...cry...
Sorry, by the way if you know of a Roger that you know and love, no offense meant. If you know a Roger, that you know and love, it could also be a statement used in a positive way, "that was a Roger!"...smile laugh...

As I was dressing Engie this morning I was amazed how big she is getting. I looked at her long torso, and remembered that little 7lb baby I had nearly 2 years ago. Funny how over time they grow, but day to day you just don't notice it. She is talking so much and for the most part you can converse in small sentences with her. She started say "OK". Which is quite funny.

Best be off to manage the tyrants!

64 degrees in January?

We have enjoyed record high temperatures here today, the kids loved being reaquanted with the outdoors. Here are some pics of them on the soppy wet ground. There are also some pictures of just last week. Ya gotta love the 4 seasons here and all the inbetweens.

Christmas 2007

We had a great Christmas and holiday season. This year was so fun because the kids really got into it, and Nate especially understood what was happening. My folks came up to spend the holidays with us and the rest of the family. This made Christmas extra special for Nate and Engie. They loved having grandma and grandpa (mama, as Engie called them). Engie got a doll, that is a little too close to life, it cries until you hold it and give it a pacifer or bottle.
Here is our family at Jill's house for Christmas. No matter how hard we tried we couldnot get a decent shot.
Nate got an airplane set and the look on his face is priceless!
